Default So I hit the rolling road today ...

So I hit the rolling road today to see what she's putting down. I already had an idea of what kind of power I'd be making, but was really happy when it was confirmed.

323 bhp at the flywheel and 270 at the wheels with a peak of 273 lb ft of torque. Very pleased on a standard BP at 15psi.

Print out below:

Hmm interesting. How long have you been at those power levels and how long do you think it will hold on the stock block? Those are some pretty awesome numbers I bet you are pumped.

The car has only been turbo'd a couple of months so far. Time will tell how the engine will cope. And yeah I'm really pumped about the numbers.

you guys measure power differently over there. your 270hp would be closer to 250hp in N/A. At least from what I understand.... Good powers none the less...

Scale is for brake horsepower and wheel torque.

If you notice there is both "Power" and "Fly Power". If you look at the numbers he wrote in his post, they correspond to fly power being engine horsepower at the flywheel and power being wheel horsepower, as expected.

Now if you look at power for wheel horsepower (what we want to know and correlate to torque), they are both 250 (whp or ft lbs) at 6000 rpm, meaning thats the crossover. Something funky here for sure.

I think the scale is off, but I'm not an expert. It's a T28 Journal Bearing from a Pulsar GTI-R.
