Default 340hp/280tq: '94 forged EFR6758 on E85

Finally finished the build and it put up some good numbers today. Not insane numbers, but good for me.

Final numbers!

246hp / 221tq on CA 91 **** gas
340hp / 280tq on E85 "magic juice"

Here are the mods:
  • 1999 NB Short Block (w/ knock sensor)
  • Kraken EFR 6758 kit with full 3" exhaust and larger intercooler
  • Wossner 8:1 83mm forged pistons
  • Manly Rods
  • Volvo B20 Valve Springs
  • ACL Race Bearings
  • FlowForce LS Coil Pack
  • Boundary Oil Pump
  • NB1 6 speed
  • DW 340 fuel pump
  • GM E85 Flex Fuel Sensor
  • MS3 PNP Pro
  • FM Stage 2 Clutch Kit
  • IDX 1050X Injectors
  • ARP Studs
  • Torsen Diff
  • Mishumoto Radiator
  • Supermiata coolant reroute
  • Many, many suspension modifications...

Still not done with the build though, next up is interior and paint.

That is some great power!

But I have to admit, by revving your very strong engine to 7500, it would pick up another 40-50hp.
You have all the mods to support this, torque isn't climbing there, so the gearbox wouldn't even care.

Would you tell us how much timing you run at peak torque? This seems ultra conservative for E85
