Default '94 Begi S

'94 BEGI S non-intercooled with GT2554
Walbro 190
stock injectors, stock internals, 104k on the clock.
BEGI FMU
Enthuza 2.5" exhaust
Bipes ACU set at the most aggressive settings, with exception of max timing at 6 degrees retard (base timing set at 12)
Boost was set at what I thought was 8psi, but the dyno said 9psi (gotta get a better gauge).

I ran it this aggressive because of the cold air in January. Recently it started pinging quite a bit as it gets hotter, so I've since then installed an intercooler and also shopping for injectors.

Will dyno again when I get new injectors

Hey, just wondering how much of a difference the IC made. I have the BEGi-S on my 99 but it pings like a mother... No IC but wondering how much of a change it made...

Thanks!

Instead of a 80-100* change in IATs when in boost with no IC you should see no more than a 20* delta when in boost with an IC.

Wow, that is quite a change!

Hope to install mine this weekend then... was going to push it off and work on other projects; but this is more important.

Thanks and cheers!

OP-
What fuel are you running? Where are you located? I'd wager East Coast 93...

Actually, I was asking the OP.

Wish I had your fuel, though.
