N/A na6 quarter
Just thought I may aswell put something up. I had a mate going to the track today so I tagged along and took mine for a run.
Anyways it ran a 15.509 quarter at 85.24 mph, I had a couple more runs but boggd one and spun first the other but both had better mph, 89.32 and 89.41. I might see if i can scan the sheet in sometime.
Its a 1600 with 265deg cams, 2.5" exhaust with dodgy ebay headers, 4:3 torsen and 6speed box. Engine is unopened except for cams and is up to 225000km (about 140K miles)
It ran 16.7 stocker with just exhaust and cai so I am pretty happy with the improvements so far, I just can't wait to get the hairdrier on it now. Hopefully it shouldn't be more than a few months away when I can get around to making a manifold and get a cooler etc.

Considering it ran 16.7 before and I havn't done much for power yet I dont think it ran too bad.

P.S. I only realised after I prob should have put this in the DIY section, it was so late the other night when I put it here.

oops didn't realize you already have all that. but still, your best run was at 85mph and you've trapped 89, which should get you close
Yes that is with all of the above. I only got 3 runs in so I didn't get a real good launch but the first wasnt too bad apart from heaps of wheel hop. I think there may still be a little in it but not 14's IMO.

Interesting to note Mach, I guess there must be a little more in it if the best time still had a lower trap speed.
Another interesing note was the 2 runs with higher trap speed were when I bogged(after I short shifted to secnd to stop the spinning) so if I could avoid the wheel hop at the start I might get a little better. I didn't think of it at the time, but my KYBs are on full soft, maybe if I tried stiffening them a little to dampen the spring oscillations it may help?

They are from a company here in Australia called Crow Cams. I don't know the full details of them since I picked them up second hand and havn't got around to calling crow for the full grind specs, but they are 265 degree in and ex.
The only problem I have had with them is that I have found it imposible to get the car to idle. Aswell as the cams I have an NB inlet mani and iac which seems a real bitch to control. Even on steady DC(warmup only mode) I have to have it idling around 1500-2000 rpm to stop it from huntung, thats with a pretty consistant 13:1 afr and flat spark table all around idle.
