I'm jealous of your BMW tranny swap.

I would think you'd be able to push more torque/HP than that. Are you holding back because pump gas? Were you det limited?

BMW tranny is pretty sweet! I’m loving it so far. The gearing is amazing between the tranny and the 3.23. Only problem is not having a speedometer.

Yes, I am running 93 pump gas. I’m also on stock internals. I asked them to push it to 300, but keep it safe. It made 305/275ish, but the tuner pulled a bit of timing to keep the torque down. Just want something fun to drive until I can get the built motor back in.

BMW trans and stock motor. I am a bit confused by that, but it all works.

Built motor is on a stand waiting for a new head gasket and to be shipped to Tennessee.

FVCDK YEAH! I want what you are doing!! I've got the built motor, the turbo, the fuel and everything BUT the tranny. Help me understand the setup. Kmiata kit, BMW tranny, then how does their drive shaft connect up to the getrag diff? What exact model of diff did you use and did you also have to adapt to the wheels with some other half axles?

I bought the Kmiata tranny kit and the V8roadsters diff kit all at once. Custom driveshaft and axles. The diff is a 3.23 out of a Cadillac STS.

Nice!

Guessing you're not using EBC yet either in the name of 'stock motor go boom' prevention?

Looking forward to what this does when you drop in the built motor!

How does EBC make it go boom?
