I’m on a manual boost controller for the moment. Definitely trying to keep the rods in one piece. I really don’t want a window in the side of my block lol

It's peak cylinder pressure that kills stock rods. EBC can also be tuned to limit boost.

I'd actually argue EBC could make the same curve safer by allowing you to use boost instead of timing to make power down low. Using boost instead of timing means less peak cylinder pressure.
