AutoZone carries it. It's 22 bucks a can and treats as whole tank. Not sure if you're in the US or not but if you are just get in the zone. 👏

I usually throw some of the "Turbo 108 race fuel" as just a safety net, but I will see if any of the Zonies have the VP -- Rochester Ny is within those parameters

Just look on the shelf where the brake fluid and whatnot is. You'll see two types of octanium one is unleaded and the other is a little stronger. They both raise 93 octane into 100+.

Andy, like watching your videos and the Kraken comparison. I wanna make sure Im read this right... when you swapped to the low mount you did you retune and made that much more power? I watched the video but beer erases much of my memory.

Im debating going for that manifold to keep the upper rpms breathing but much lower boost level

I did add more ignition timing on the kraken manifold. I was unable to add the timing with the FM manifold probably due to backpressure. Other than that its the same engine but yes the fact that I could add more timing made a gigantic difference .

Andy, Thanks for the clarification. I had assumed this, but A-B testing isn't always done cleanly. Watched your videos before i got really addicted to the NB.

Just tuned a GTX2863R car, but with a fm log. Reminded me of this thread, and your car. Very happy with this turbo, and still think 400whp is nuts in a miata

I ended up with right around 400 at 20psi at sea level. I genuinely wonder what the absolute limit of these things is, it seemed like it could easily make another 50-60. on E85 of course.

Very healthy. And it's "only" a gen1.

Sometimes I'm nearly maxing out my 2,5bar map sensor with a gtx2860r gen2 when its cold and it rips for sure. Never put it on the dyno, but VD puts out a very nice powerband and 340whp at ~20psi on an NA8, 102 RON
