Default MSM with Flex Fuel Setup

Dyno is comparing premium gasoline (called 98 in Australia, comparable to 93 in the US) to E85.

The car is an Australian MSM (aka SE). Running MSPNP-Pro, EBC, 3" dp/exhaust (w/ cat & muffler), custom intake, ebay intercooler, walbro 255, Flow Force 640 injectors, flex sensor. Stock motor and turbo. Running about 15psi.

This is pretty much all the stock setup can make, I guess I could get some additional gains from a flattop, or a BNR turbo upgrade, but I won't be chasing those at this time. Car is a lot of fun right now.

All fabrication and tuning done by NitroDann.

My intro post if you're interested in more detail.

Nice plot. This is a great plot for a stock motor. Anything more and you would be looking at possible bent rods.

I think if you up the pressure they flow significantly more.

I think all MSMs have Schrodinger's rods. They're both bent and straight until you open the engine to replace them - and then 1 or 2 of them are always twisted.

Not sure on the duty cycles, NitroDann might know if he checks in here. I realise they're near their limits. I'll log a pull one day and see.

In fact injectors are the one point of the build I would do differently if I were to do it again. Nothing wrong with FF of course, but should I ever build the motor or upgrade the turbo (and isn't that the dream?) they'll need to be replaced. But hey, what's another few hundred dollars when building a motor?

That's what I thought. I wonder what the point is where they just can't supply any more fuel even with an aftermarket pump.
