Smile myfonti's first dyno results!

i finally got my car dynoed! the before dyno was so unappealing that i almost cried(132rwhp@5psi)
right after that, i got a dp custom made at 2.5 in. and 3 in. test pipe with the rest of the piping to the magnaflow resonator and muffler at 3 in. as well...
the end dyno result was 152rwhp@5psi... not bad, right?
check my sheet! it was on a dynojet...
next is a clutch(break it in), then throw on my emb, 305cc injectors, jr afpr, 190lhp fp... i want 250rwhp! but ill settle for 230...

That's a step in the right direction, get that clutch and everything else in already man, you've been talking about it for about a month now.

looks good (especially for the boost level)....I'd like to see it vs. engine speed.

happen to have the .drf files?

That's the actual dyno file that the dynojet creates, you can ask the shop for it .

i dont think them guys saved it if anything... it was just a simple dyno run... nothing hooked up like wbo2... just before and after runs... although, the before and after numbers were the best numbers, so i guess those were the only 1s shown...

Looks really good. Numbers are right on. And don't feel bad about the 132, I think I made something like 122 after installing the stock GReddy kit and going to the dyno. Funny how I never posted or saved that run...

Looking good man, once I get my clutch in, I am going to schedule a dyno run to see what I am making at 8psi. Once I get new injectors, then I am going to step it up a lot more.

1 more note, that was at 8 degrees btdc... will i have more power bumping the timing to 10? 12? or 14? that is once i install my emanage blue or water injection... whichever comes first...

Once you get the WI in, I was able to run my base 12 degrees of timing, and only pull 2 degrees to eliminate all knock at 6psi, just to give you a better idea. But, I also rely on my WI a little bit too much. I am putting to gether a safeguards system for the WI, so that will give me some piece of mind. It will give you a little more power, but you have to be careful when messing with the ignition timing when incresing the cylinder pressures.

Once you get the DRF file you can compare dyno runs with other people (I've got an interesting one at home comparing my 201 HP turbo to a 202 HP M62. Very eye opening...

Sure they saved it. Too lazy to delete it and too lazy to give you a copy. I'd drop by there with a USB memory key or floppy and ask for a copy if they won't send you one in email.

great figures.

Its pretty amazing that you have gained approx 2orwhp by opening up the exhaust at the same PSI.

Surely thats like around a gain of 30+hp at the flywheel?

Anyway ...its convinced me to open up my exhaust another quarter inch.

I always thought it would make minimal difference.

that's awesome. definetly means its a good downpipe. why am I so happy about this? because that downpipe is currently sitting out in the parking lot. IN MY MIATA! followed by a 2.5" cat, piping, and magnaflow muffler

hehe although I'm running a bipes pulling 10degrees, and 7.5psi. wonder what I'm making?
