Hello guys.

Currently i m running NA. In the past i tried installing the emb in my miata but i couldnt getting it started. After the purchase of boomslang harness i fried my coils . :(

Now i m purchasing a new emb unit but i m very scared about the coils(250 euros used) .

What should i consider before installing ?
Also i read somewhere about diodes. What about them ?

Coil pack problems for the '99 are limited to the EMU so I'd carefully check through the harness to make sure its wired correctly.

 

Well, I had my EMB running with my 99 (but 1,6l) and a boomslang harness - no problems. Check your harness (mine was perfectly O.K. from the beginning-but I checked first)

I still have my autotune for the EMB for sale - if you would be interested?
