Mine was as well then I bumped the idle up. Try adding 50-100 RPM to idle.

Hmm, idle didn't seem to do much. Still idles at ~9.5afr when fully warmed up, :(. And all the time when not in boost at runs very rich as well around 10-11afr. I'll see if I can fix this, any suggestions?

Yes please post your EM2 and log files.. I’m idling between 13.2 and 15 which is pretty much stock.. I'd like to see what you are doing differently out of boost..

I'll post my map when I get home a little bit later, but it looks very similar to yours, I don't know what's going on. Could it be a bad injector maybe? I also have FM dual feed fuel rail but that shouldn't matter much at idle.

i would not mess with the idle adjustment settings for now. let your stock ecu try to idle. also in the af target tab under properties feedback cycle might be changed from 20 to something like 100 or 200 ms. only turn on the maps that are critical for now. maybe ignition, af target, injection, to get it running first than later mess with the other stuff. for simplicity purposes just start off with least active settings. ps, where did you ground your lc1 i am having ground offset problems it keeps recallibrating. by itself.

My LC1 is grounded to the steering column under the dash, never had any problems with it recalibrating.

Thanks mx5-4me I'll try that, hopefully I can figure this out.

If I remember correctly I've grounded all my wires to same location.

Damn dude, that idles is just perfect! Mine's not like that though, still around 10afr, I'll check all the connections in the engine bay, might be a vacuum hose or something like that, cause I have no idea what's going on with this. Thanks for your help though, I really appreciate it!

I'll try that, thanks for a suggestion. It runs good, idles decent, just very rich. I'll see what the water adjustment will do.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I now have the RX7 550cc and EMU.

I am using the rusman.zip map, with the idle control and water adj zeroed out, and I am still having the hot start issues.

Anything new come out of this?

No, I ended up buying smaller injectors, runs better now.

Just curious, I had some RX7 550s flow tested at injector rehab and they rated them at 550 at 2.25 bar -- is 2.25 bar the standard 43.5, or am I wrong in thinking it converts to something else?

Also listed at http://www.injector-rehab.com/kbse/flowrates.htm

I'm trying to nail down 550s and EMU on a 2001 before I go turbo, and I am having the ~5000 rpm rich stumble and idle problems.
