Picked up an mtxl to replace my lm1 for ms2 install soon. I've got it grounded with the stock Ecu, but can't find a good stable 12v sorce to hijack I've tried the radio, (cigarette lighter is inop) but tried anyway and finally I wired it into the power window fuse. I don't have power windows so I figured 12v with nothing else on the line would work, but it blew the fuse as soon as I tried driving the car. Anything better I can use? The windshield wipers fuse was hijacked for water temp and boost gauge and fans buy the previous owner and works..

 

Tap it off the ECU's power as well for now. When you do the MS2, you can provide yourself with clean lead from the box instead of a splice. Put a fuse inline dedicated for the mtxl
