No. On this 'new' motor with the twincooler I've not seen overheating, having said that I am yet to really test the car under hot ambient temps. That may produce different results in which case a re-route would be something to look at.

I was wondering more about where you were locating them. I've used the electromotive CLT sensor, but put in the re-route section using BEGi's adaptor, basically right where the main coolant exits out of the back of the head.

I placed the EM CLT sensor in the coolant pipe exiting the back of the head, same as you by the sounds of it. I've stuck some comments on my website about it - I'll be adding some more stuff to the site soon, just got to find time.

Now I wonder if there is a site where one can plug in a resistance/temp/voltage to plot a graph of the GM sensor characteristics?

I was unimpressed with the twincooler. If I had it to do over again, I would get a stand alone oil cooler. Of course, it all comes down to ducting.

If I were to do it again I would spring for a 'standard' alloy radiator for sure. The oil-cooler has just added complication and increased the crowdedness of the install - I can not even be sure to what degree it is contributing to cooling the engine. I have plenty of ducting in there and suspect an alloy rad would be enough.

It definitely keeps the oil at temp - you can see it working when the thermo switches (back when it switched. heh)...

But a little oil cooler stuffed anywhere else would be as good, even in front. Maybe on top of the intercooler.

How much info do you have on the sensor? Excel has many forumlas built in... You might be able to do that in there already.
