Now I wonder if there is a site where one can plug in a resistance/temp/voltage to plot a graph of the GM sensor characteristics?

If I were to do it again I would spring for a 'standard' alloy radiator for sure. The oil-cooler has just added complication and increased the crowdedness of the install - I can not even be sure to what degree it is contributing to cooling the engine. I have plenty of ducting in there and suspect an alloy rad would be enough.

It definitely keeps the oil at temp - you can see it working when the thermo switches (back when it switched. heh)...
But a little oil cooler stuffed anywhere else would be as good, even in front. Maybe on top of the intercooler.
How much info do you have on the sensor? Excel has many forumlas built in... You might be able to do that in there already.
