ECU Options/Opinions
My head is spinning from information overload so I thought I'd take a break and ask some general questions. Background:
I've been running an adaptronic in my MSM for about 3 years and got very comfortable working with Wari and tinkering with the tune. I did the MSM beta testing and we got really close to OBDII friendly piggyback. If you are really bored, you can read my build thread in my signature but essentially, I took the MSM back to stock to build a dedicated track car from a '90. I will be using an MSM engine (from a separate crash donor) in the '90 and already have all of the mechanical things worked out like the engine internals, turbo exhaust, etc.
I was planning on using the Adaptronic but earlier today Travis told me they don't really have harness to put the 420 in an NA6 chassis. Crap...
I could strip out my existing NB harness and splice everything up wire by wire but frankly, there are 15,000 things that could go wrong with that project. Travis and Andy are working on a solution for the 440 but that is still in development and I need to be ready to roll by the end of March. I'm fine cutting, splicing and soldering connectors and I know the engine swap will require a bunch of that but I don't want to engineer a harness from scratch.
I have an LC-1/controller and 600cc Deatschwerks I'd like to use to save costs. This is a track car so it doesn't need to pass emissions, idle in traffic, run AC or behave nicely on cold mornings. It needs to run like a raped ape on the track without blowing up. The MSM motor is basically a 99/00 motor with no VVT and I have an early alternator so that's covered. I have a VICS manifold I'd like to use but the rest should be chalk. I don't even care if I need to put the fans on a toggle switch for now. I've been working with the Adaptronic so long that I haven't really paid much attention to the development of the other makes like Megasquirt or AEM.
There have to be thousands of NA6 chassis running 1.8 turbos on the track. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

That looks like the most viable option. Like I said, my brain was locking up with overload so I'm taking a break for a few hours. Plenty of mechanical and fabricating things to do on the build that don't require much thinking...
