Ecu problem again

Ecu problem again
Hey guys I found out my 91 ecu was fried so I picked up another one. Now when k turn the key the normal lights come up but when I go to start the car it does nothing? No starter click etc. I do have a manual car and I don't know if the ecu came from a manual or auto car. Would this make a difference?
