Engine Hesitation.
Hey guys, btw new to all this. I have encountered a problem with my 1.8 turbo miata. Whenever I blimp the throttle it hesitates, but when i ease on to the throttle everything is fine. Please help, its quite annoying because it makes heel toe shifting almost impossible.
I think it has to due with my tune, for some reason when i use autotune feature, my VE table ends up looking like this.
I have 650cc Injectors.

You might want to attach your tune file for review. What do your accel enrichment settings look like? Too little acceleration enrichment is a common cause of hesitation when giving the throttle a quick blip.
Also, autotune should stop making adjustments when you get off throttle at cruising speed. It looks like yours might still be adjusting when you get off the throttle? Maybe someone here with more expertise can confirm on that for me.

You really need to take a step back and learn a bit before continuing to tune your car. You have almost 0 resolution in your VE table in boost and it's not changing VE at all after 6600 RPM. Unless you are running a 6500 RPM redline you are in danger of being wayyyy off the mark when you are near redline. Both of these problems could cause serious issues.
As for the tuning, VEAL sometimes does crazy stuff in vacuum and transient throttle conditions. It's usually best to tune the low RPM low load regions under as steady state conditions as you can and then lock those cells before going to the higher RPM higher load regions.
Tuning acceleration enrichment isn't going to do anything until you get your VE table sorted out. AE is just a modifier of VE and 30% of 10 VE isn't going to make any difference but 30% of 40/50 VE might cause the car to go incredibly rich.
