Default Issue with Innovate MTX-L WB Display

Hey guys,

I recently installed MSPNP2 and the MTX-L in my 99 Miata that is awaiting its BEGI Shanghai-S Turbo kit. The WB sends the proper output to tunerstudio and one of the scrolling dots seems to accurately track AFR, but the display doesn't read correctly on the WB itself and there is an extra dot.....

The MTX-L worked normally for about a week before it randomly developed this issue.

Connections:
Switched 12v - Spliced and Soldered into radio power source
Ground - Wire ran through firewall grommet to ECU ground at front of Valve Cover
AFR Output - Directly into pin 14 MSPNP
Headlight switched power is grounded.

Here is a video I just made showing the issue.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Contact Innovate. Looks like you'll probably need to have them warranty it.

Okay so today when I was driving I noticed that, on a few occasions, the MTX-L kind of faded back to normal and worked fine for like 2-3 seconds. To me this hints to an issue with my wiring. Anyone else have an opinion?

not a whole lot of wiring on it, id say it looks like a damaged unit with the way its acting
