Default ive gone full retard :( help reassembling my LC-1 gauge

as the title says im retarded. i was trying to paint my chrome bezel on my wideband gauge for my lc1 black and as i took the bezel off it popped off the gauge face and pulled the needle out of the stepper motor. is there a way to clock the needle back to the stepper motor or am i gonna have to get a new gauge?

Just spitballing here, but can't you power it on, and free air the sensor into having it lean out all the way, then pop the needle back on? I have no idea if that will work, but might be worth a shot

I'm confused, was the retarded part trying to paint it, or trying to take it apart? Cause they're both retarded.
