S&S433

Hi guys, previously was running a mslabs ms3 in my 94 vvt swapped miata. Had it professionally tuned but come to find out it was an older built unit that didn't support flex fuel. Purchased a ms3pro pnp, and am not getting any tach signal. Wired the vvt per the mega thread post. Tuner wasn't able to get it configured, he knows ms very well and said it's most likely a wiring issue but I can't find any discrepancy between the wiring of the two units. Any help?
