Default NA- Trigger wheel setup for MS3 and VVT

Hello, after a night study on this forum more doubts came to my mind

I have just bought a NA with 1.8vvt swapped engine managed by an MS2 ecu and i would like to enable the vvt feature by swapping ecu. But, like is well known i need a crank signal, so trigger wheel and vr sensor.

So, i went to the oem style sensor on its way to my home, for the trigger wheel i went for an ebay steel 36-1 in the picture

But, second but, this is a 4mm trigger wheel, can i use it with my unknown pulley setup in this picture? What setup is this?

Thanks!

Ok from what i've learned from internet and previous owners this is the old pulleys setup, coming from the 1.6 with no crank sensor at all. Now i'm wondering how to put the trigger wheel in that setup without messing with belts alignment and that's the plan. I will shave the trigger wheel till 2mm from 4mm, shave 1mm from the crank pulley (if it has meat) and spacing the other pulleys by 1mm, is it going to work? Issues?

Thanks!

Were you running the car with no issues with the MS2? The Vvt just wasn’t doing anything? I didn’t know that was even possible. So it would basically be like having a BP4W head kinda?

Yes i am, and i will for some more time too since is kind of impossible to put a trigger wheel on that pulley, i neet to swap to NB pulleys setup. Btw, yes it was like having a regular head, you can lock the vvt in any position you want but is fixed, just Valve Timing without Variable
