Default Another MacBook Pro post

Searching for anyone that is using a newer MacBook Pro that has the “thunderbolt ports” to use with tunerstudio. I haven’t found any answers on whether or not it is compatible or incompatible with the newer MacBooks that have to get an adapter from thunderbolt to traditional USB. I have contacted diyautotune and they didn’t have any information on anyone using tunerstudio with thunderbolt ports.

This is the one I have. Is yours similar to this? Also are you running the MacBook version of tunerstudio? Was going to get parallels and run it through windows 10 because from everything I’ve read it is buggy with the Mac version.

Yep, that's it. I use the Mac Java version. Works fine, been using for five years with few issues. Only current issue is it takes a few minutes to exit the application.

Thanks for all the help! Now I know it works with the newer MacBooks.

The Bluetooth module from EFI analytics works well too. I’ve even flashed firmware over it..

Bluetooth dongle for the MS is probably best bet and it’s great cause you never have to go up to the ecu
