i bought it off of craigslist. it has the simulator with it and all the lights blinked. i had it modified using the instructions on diyautotune.com to be able to run the bp cas. i ran 12v to pin 28 and grounded all the grounds to make sure it worked before i put it in my car. its not communicating with my computer and now the simulator doesnt blink... is this normal with the miata cas mod? or did i fry something?

so today i got the chance to plug my ms into my buddies laptop and into his car. both work with his ms1 v3.0 board. and nothing works. no leds light up and no communication with the computer. everything worked fine before i had it modded to work with the miata cas. ive looked over the mod a dozen times to make sure everything is where its supposed to be and everything looks fine. im stumped.


edit. it was previously used in a honda civic or vw golf from what im being told by the P/O would there be any reason for anything having to be removed from or added on to the board that would effect operation?
