RR-FPR for fuel management
#9
I haven't given up on this one yet (maybe I'm an idiot).
Lets look at costs. For an FPR, I wouldn't spend much less than what Begi charges (remember this is the device that will keep your engine from blowing up, Ebay is not an acceptable alternative). Lets say $200 for the RRFPR. Another $200 for a Bipes. So now you are at $400 for your bandaids. Nice and cheap. Except last time I checked there were FOUR (4) megasquirts in the classified section under $300.
Seriously OP, is there a reason you want to pay MORE for an inferior system? Add the TunerStudio license cost to your MS and it is still less than the bandaids, and it literally tunes the fuel for you.
If one of your bandaids was failing and you wanted to replace it rather than go MS I would understand. But I cannot see why you would CHOOSE to go this route from the beginning.

Go make an intro thread and tell us about the car, your mechanical ability and your goals for the project.
Please note: Anyone can check your post history. You've started 3-4 threads to ask this same basic question, and each time the responses have become more and more hostile and antagonistic. Have you figured out why yet?

I'm just looking at every option...pros and cons. Can't find any downsides to the MS other than it is not really backed by a major corp.
Thanks for your input.
