Default Standalone made locally here in Iceland

So this guy is a bit of a brainiac and known within the tuner culture here. He used to build megasquirts and mod them quite a bit too.

Now he came forward with his own standalone and software. I'll go check it out in person tomorrow, but price and options seem pretty nice

Any obvious options that I may be missing out on ?

Have these units been long term tested by third party un-biased users and proven to work well?

These units are relatively new, less than a year old. But as far as I know his other stuff has always been good.

that doesn't matter.

the single most important reason why we all run MS is because there's so much support for it on this forum. and other forums.

tons and tons of people finding tons of issues and figuring them all out and helping each other, updating hardware, software, tuning interface, etc.

a new ecu is a NIGHTMARE to deal with. no one ever "get's it right" on the first try, no matter how superhuman they are.

That is true. But if we always stick to the proven stuff, new stuff will never happen. I'll decide what I'll do after seeing it and testing tomorrow, and find out who else has this (it's a small country after all) And If I buy it and it's a bust I won't be in denial about it, I'll go MS then.

I'm just curious since it seems like a neat little setup

okay. so a lot of our turbo'd formula offroad cars are using it with good results.

The tables can be adjusted for size depending on rev ranges and vehicle needs, and a more powerful processor than VEMS and MS3. A real usb port instead of serial port emulator. and he insists he's using a much more sophisticated injector models which mean that you'll get much more reliable control over bigger injectors.

I'm going to meet up with a few buddies tomorrow that all respectively have VEMS, MS3 and this computer and see how they work, plus meeting the guy that made it to ask him about details and support.

After that I'll decide which route I'll pick
