After lots of research and development, I have been able to unlock the stock immobilizer module. This means that my next generation of Enhanced Megasquirts will communicate with the module, and therefor the "Security light" will not longer blink in the gauge cluster. It will just stay on for 1 second and then it will go off.
Good times.

$900 R/T is about as good as it gets. hope you have miles.
so what exactly does "unlocking the immobilizer" mean practically besides saving me from removing the immobilizer light bulb? Can it be wired into an MS so that it disables the MS and wont let you start the car without the chipped key?

Yes. Right now, I am only disabling the light by telling the module that everything is ok on the ECU side, I do however want to also immobilize the MS if the codeword is not correct. The problem is developing a non-exploitable strategy that will still allow you to resell the unit to someone else, rather than have an ECU matched to your car only. I'm sure I'll think of something though.
