Timing and AFR tweaks
Hey guys. Long time lurker here, and took the plunge to turbo my 1990 1.6l. I am just looking for some piece of mind and or advice regarding my timing table and AFR targets. I have been dialing this in for the good part of 8 months or so over last summer, tuning from NA before moving into the boost world. I have yet to get the car dyno tuned, but planned to hopefully have that done this summer up at Fab9 in Michigan. I couldn't get squeezed in last year before the season ended, since I store the car over the winter months.
Regardless, here are my tables. I wanted to stay on the safer side and also have readily available access to 93 octane which I exclusively run in the car. The setup is a taco (?) log turbo header and a T04e 50 trim turbo currently running rock solid at 8psi. Also have an ACT HD PP and full face street clutch for a 1.8, along with streetlite flywheel in the mail now, and am working to prepare for 12psi before I stay put. I run RX8 425cc yellow injectors and a speeduino ECU (which honestly has done me very well). AFRs run a tad bit lean in cruise, about 15.7 or so, and I need to address that when I take the car out next. I want this car to remain alive for as long as I do. Let me know your thoughts please. I appreciate all the knowledge this site has beholden to me. I would not have done any of this without the posts and people here. It has been a tremendous help!
