Default tunerstudio afr gauge stays at 7.4??

I installed my lc1 wideband and diypnp ms. My db gauge for my wideband will work but my tuner studio gauge stays at 7.4 no matter what, I have be trying to get tuner studio to run an autotune on my 93 miata but autotune will not respond. Im assuming its because it will not get a reading from my lc1 controller. I contacted diyautotune with questions they pointed out i missed a step and need to connect my yellow lc1 wire to my ecu. I then did so and my gauge then read 10-10.3 and would stay there which wasn't matching to what my db gauge was reading and it made no adjustments when throttle was applied or anything.

When i connect the yellow wire to the ecu the car runs really rough, db gauge fluctuates a lot blinks 7.4 every few moments, compared to when its not connected car runs decently well db gauge works smoothly.

Diyautotune also said i need to connect my lc1 to lm programmer to set up the yellow wire to match the output currently on the brown wire. I can not get lm programmer to recognize my "device"

What voltage do you have on the LC-1's analog output wire?

Did you tell TS which wideband you are using? Under the tools menu there should be an option for calibrating AFR.

Default outputs for the yellow (analog 1) is a simulated narrowband, brown (analog 2) is linear wideband 0-5v. Assuming (I know...) you didn't change the calibration, the brown wire should go to the wideband input on the MS. Calibrate the MS in tunerstudio as shuiend said.

How's the DB gauge connected to the LC-1? Serial connector?

You have to connect the serial cable to the lc-1 and change the second output to wideband 0-5v. Right now you probably have it setup for the narrowband. The LMProgrammer is really easy to use though.

Edit: unless something is broken. But this is what my issue was the first time.

you will probably also have to install the drivers for the serial to usb cable you are using for lm programmer to communicate.
