Yeah, there's a VPC in there. Unless i miss my guess... There's:

1) GCC
2) VPC
3) EGC
4) EVC
5) SBC

Stack a couple power cards on top of that and you have yourself a solid automobile.
Only with e-cool though

The main FCON "headunit" pretty much does what a powercard does, but better. Has an adjustment **** from 0-11. 0 is stock fueling (or at least to mimic it, most of the chips were not made for stock injectors), 11 is ALL THE FUELS.

Then you trim up or down based on RPM via the GCC.

People make real power on these setups, it's just from an era where full standalones weren't real common.

Because i don't know how to work it, the current tune is utter garbage that i'm completely disgusted at having PAID for it, i have no ambition or time to learn how to work it, and nobody locally knows how to work it.

I most certainly am not god. Unless i'm The God of Crapboxes.

Yes.

Afrs?
Probably.

Power?
Yes.

Car made 245whp on FM's dyno @ 13-14psi at elevation. @ 13psi at sea level, i'm pretty sure my stock 4.0 Cherokee would hang with it. It's ridiculously slow. I'm fairly certain it's not even making 200whp.

I'll have to pick up my wideband. Bought one from FM a year ago and had it overnighted to the only local shop that has experience with Hydra, only to have them blow off multiple tuning appointments since. Wideband is still there.

Once i have that, i'm sure i can log, just have to figure out how.

Ditto for uploading tune.

Shall i open another thread for this so we don't step on the toes of Swank Force One? (Shown here accelerating twice as fast as the Miata does, despite being on low boost and with terrible band-aids for tuning.)

Found some things. Gonna go back and pull the bellhousing at least for sure. Might pull the entire motor pending investigation.

You should go download "The Gambler" on iTunes or some other service.

Pay special attention to the part where he sings,

"You got to know when to hold 'em,
know when to fold 'em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run."

I'm stubborn, stupid, yet just smart enough to be dangerous.

It's a bad combination.

Concealer I didn't realize you were relatively close. When I get my squirt installed I'll have to take a trip down to see all your shitboxes. There's a guy in west Lafayette selling what looks like a relatively clean 323 turbo I'd love to pick up if I had some extra cash.

No.... That's just a parts car i bought for $350 for the drivetrain. Ran like a beast. That motor is going in a Miata.

The red car survived the GRM $2013 Challenge with a wounded clutch, and has been my daily driver since then even in the worst of weather and cold. I still haven't replaced the clutch because it's cold and i'm lazy.

I still maintain that you can't kill one of these motors.

Here's the red car not blowing up and turning 200k miles on the stock original motor and trans.

Here's the red car not giving a single ****.

For sure!!! Come on down! I wanna compare your MS MSM with my Hydra MSM so i can think about shooting myself.

Gotta collect 'em all!!!!!

This car is destined for the GRM $2013 Challenge alongside the red car. We're gonna see how much a stock motor likes 30psi from a Buick Grand National turbo using shitty piggybacks for tuning. (After i re-seal the motor, of course.)
