Default NA6 with 1.8VVT engine, Crank, no start issues

Hi,

I been racing my na6 with a NB2 JDM engine for the past few years, off n on been having various electrical issues. the ECU is a Adaptronic E420C, NA6 harness with NB2 wires spliced in as needed (the entire swap was done by previous owner TurboRoach)

Most recently, during an event, the car would cut power leading into the corner, we replaced the spark plugs with fresh ones and did a single run and then immediately pulled off and shut the car off to check the plugs. it showed white at the tips and concluded lean (AFR also showed 22.) Replaced the Walrbo 190 to a DW200 and added the upgraded fuel relay. The following day after replacing the pump and adding a new relay, I drove the car 10 minutes to a friends house, sat with the car shut off for 10 minutes then drove home. On the way home as the car coolant temps came up to 180 degrees and oil temp was 145 degrees, I went to ease into throttle to accelerate and the car would buck, then back fire loudly and AFR was around 9, so I limped home. Ever since the car cranks with no start. We replaced the Crank position sensor (CPS) and Cam angle sensor. Made sure the Crank position sensor was at the right position and distance to the crank trigger. We also measured voltage going to the CPS and noticed it was getting 12V, when documents we found said it should see about 5v. Even with the key out of ignition, it still shows 12v, which my friend believes this is a indicator of the ECU voltage regulator is possibly shot.

I do have a new Haltech Elite 1000 waiting for the wire harness to be finished, but was hoping I could wait until after this month as I have 3 more track days coming up. Not sure what else I can do or if there is something else going on? Ground strap for ECU is tight, the strap to engine appears good, and same for the fuel pump.
