Some of you may have seen this on Facebook already, but I took my ‘90 to the local mustang dyno this week and made 453whp. It wasn’t particularly hard either. Only took about 45 minutes of experimenting with different spark advance settings.
The hardest part was getting the tires to not slip on the dyno drum. We wanted to do 4th gear pulls to reduce heat, but couldn’t get it to hold. Ended up using 5th and waiting about 5 minutes between pulls.

Completely unnecessary Radium rail and Turbosmart FPR1200. Thought I would need to increase base fuel pressure, but stock 3 bar turned out to be enough.
We had to get one of the guys at the shop to sit on my toolbox in the trunk to get some more load on the rear tires. Just to make sure we didn’t waste a run.
