Default Another 1.8 swap no start... HELP

Swapped a 96' 1.8 into my 92' Miata and went to start it to no avail... typical.

Hours of reading threads on people with similar problems and I've checked most everything I've read to check...

I'm running megasquirt pnp 2 by the way...

Here's the details:
-So far me and my buddy have determined no spark and from what I can tell the injectors aren't firing.
-The fuel lines are going to the right places, fuel pump primes with key in ON position, there's new gas in the tank.
-I used the flyin' miata 1.8 swap kit and checked extended CAS wires, everything looks fine. Also used a volt meter to make sure everything was getting power, it is.
-I'm using a mixture of plug wires just to try and start the car, 3 off of the 1.6, 1 off of the 1.8... I assumed plug wires are plug wires and this wouldn't make a difference....
-We tested spark by taking a spark plug from my old 1.6 and cranking the engine with a plug wire on the spark plug and put it close to grounds to get an arc... thats how we determined no spark... I did this with a coil pack I bought recently (used) and the coil pack off my 1.6 (which to my knowledge is working) and nothing on either....
-I just swapped the 1.8 CAS with my old 1.6 CAS (which was working fine) just to check if 1.8 CAS was a dud and nothing.... (no tac reading on dash or in megasquirt)
-I deleted my TPS (don't think this would affect fuel or spark)
-Checked all grounds

WHAT SHOULD I DO???

I am pretty new to working on the miata but everything has been pretty easy to understand... I'm thinking I just don't know enough to properly diagnose something like this... Please MiataTurbo Gods HELP ME!

Basic diagnostics should be to use the high speed logging tab in tunerstudio to create a composite log. You have to crank for almost 30 seconds, and it will make half a dozen pages before it starts putting out data. Once you're confident you are producing a good cam and crank signal, then go to your spark and injector test tools again in tunerstudio to make sure you're getting the sequence you want.

I tested spark through tuner studio clicking "Pulsed" on IGN 1 and I got a good strong spark... weirdest thing happened after, I go to test Cyl 2 (I realize the test only worked for cyl 1) and with the cylinder 1 plug back on the spark plug and second plug out once I tested it the tach read a little over 2K rpm.... I have 0 clue what is going on at this point... seems like spark is working if I can manually do it through megasquirt... going to check injectors now...

I think you borked up your CAS wiring. You get spark during test mode, but the CAS isn't sending a signal to fire spark or injectors when you're cranking.

I soldered the wiring myself, thought I did a good job, Ill redo all the wiring crimping it and see if I get anythin different...

post some pictures before you redo it all. You might have mixed up wires or something.

I have everything unwraped and they're all matching (red/white to red/white, blue/yellow to blue/yellow, black/green to black/green, white to white...

I've checked it once and checked it twice.

Did you get a composite log from the high speed logger? What is your setting in tunerstudio for the CAS?

Update: I rewired CAS, nothing (still no tac reading). I tested each coil individually through tunerstudio and they do spark, after I did that i tested for spark on cranking and nothing. I unstalled the STOCK ECU and it will only crank, no tach, no fuel still. CAS setting in tunerstudio is 4G63 as it was for the 1.6...
At my wits end.

Run composite logger & post a picture of the log.

I just took fuel rail off, gonna swap out injectors to the new ones I have because I'm using my OG 1.6 injectors and I think they're wack, tested them using MS and they're not firing.

I was trying to take a composite log earlier, I've never done it before and I don't think they were saving??? Next time everythings on I'll do a proper composite log and post it probably later this week...

The thing I'm trying to focus on is the CAS output, more accurate voltmeter coming tomorrow so I can get some data on whats going on in the wiring...

UPDATE: Got a good multimeter and found the CAS was not getting 12V, couldn't find the culprit in the wiring so I took a good 12V source that turns on with the key in the ON position and wired it to the CAS and got a good RPM reading when cranking the car. Now turning to my no fuel issue... I used the multimeter to check the power to the injectors and the resistance at each injector and everything looks good. Like a dingus I had switched the fuel lines around but when testing injectors with megasquirt I cannot hear them clicking. Shouldn't be affected by the fuel lines but I'm gonna guess its me not performing the test right and try and start it tomorrow, I have replacment injectors if mine are duds but I wanted to run the car with stock injectors while breaking it in...

Till tomorrow,

AJ
