Default another flow force injector question

so ive read that the flow force injectors are essentially gt500 injectors. what is the difference between the flow force injectors and the kit from ka injection, who also sells gt500 injectors that are pnp for miatas?

price difference is about $100 but seem like the same thing?

Nigel matches them as sets, based on individual flow tests. he has a proven track record here.

Plus if you do not think flow matching is worth it, you could get your own injectors and get the BYOI kit from Nigel

BYOI - Flow Force Adapter Kit for 1990-2005 Mazda Miata ? Flow Force Injectors

This is what I will do, given that I already have the injectors. FF kit is proven and well-priced, definitely worth it.

For just about every known/reputable/trusted company or product, you can find a cheaper unknown/questionable/often shady company for cheaper.

The only question you need to ask yourself is this: do I feel lucky? do I like to take risks? am I ok with potentially breaking my car in the name of science?

Thanks for the kind words folks.
I also have an unwritten but basically unlimited support policy, which includes those 3 year old injectors you got from some guy that maybe used them on his racecar and maybe sat in a dirty drawer somewhere, and now they might need new seals but you're not sure. I also offer any newly designed upgrades to any Flow Force owner (including BYOI) for basically the cost if shipping.

Another FB "vendor" ripping off existing products and whoring them out for bottom dollar. They won't be around in a year when you need support, nor do they have the knowledge required to actually provide you with any support. Buyer beware.

Lets put it this way. I did the BYOI setup. I have idle problems on my 1.6. The injectors were from a set of 8 off ebay that I split with a friend. His car idles like a dream (on a 1.6 fm link ecu still running batch), my car idles rough abd had to be setup sequential to even get it to idle reasonable.

I am 90% sure it is a missmatched low pulsewidth on one of my injectors. Do I know for sure? Nope. Also don't have any support. So I live with the slightly weird idle.

Buy the matched set from FF, they are matched at low and high pulsewidths so they work right.

I have zero idea why anyone would even consider this an option.
The guy with the dyno shop that claims multi year reliability out of 300+HP stock Mazda BPs talks about how great KA Injection is......and that's enough for me to never even consider it.

I bought a set of injectors from KA for my NA engine since I didn't/won't ever need 650cc injectors. He has a kit which translates to about 390cc at 60psi which was perfect for me. New in bag FoMoCo EV14 injectors. Email comms with him were responsive and he didn't appear to be trying to say he was selling anything that he wasn't. Would buy from him again.

Now, if I were to buy a set of the 650cc injectors then I would buy from Nigel because you do get a matched set. That's the extra $100 right there which would likely be more if you had to dick around with a set you got from KA or wherever else. Oh, and I also spent a bit of time communicating via emal with Nigel and he also was quick to reply with a no-nonsense, no-pressure sales pitch approach. I can't see anyone choosing wrong by choosing his product.

So yeah, KA is $100 cheaper but you get $100 less of service so it's not really cheaper, it's just less convenient.

Some of you may remember me, most of you may not since I havnt posted in a long time. I used to sell injector service kits on here and offer ultrasonic cleaning.

I don’t offer either of those services anymore, but I am the one behind KAinjection or KAi.

So for any of you saying that my kits are cheap knockoffs, clearly you don’t know anything.

I designed all the adapters that go with my kits myself, including the rail spacers for the GT500 kits, and lower adapters for the kit that uses the same injector as Nigel uses in his FF 950 kit. I had this kit long before Nigel ever released his, not saying he copied me or anything just saying that it’s something I already had and wasn’t something I just copied him on.

All of my injectors are either Ford OEM injectors or BOSCH genuine injectors.

If any of you still want to call my stuff garbage and cheap knockoffs, good for you. I am not here to fight about it.

So why are you here and what's the point of this post?
