ATI Damper Install
unless its .008 i dont see a problem.. i mean one hair is roughly .003 thick in diameter. if the clearance is .0008 then thats no biggy.
one problem though from what i remember the stock miata crank is tapered meaning the more you tighten it, the tighter it gets therefore its "press fit" in a way. Now i could be wrong since i havent messed with that for ages but if i'm right then the clearance is 0 obviously.. the next problem is if its tapered and you dont tighten it well, it slips out and you're screwed since it will chew the crank up
