B6T exhauat cam install in 1993 RHD, something wrong...
Before installing a B6T exhaust cam in my 1.6 turbo project, we got the crank pulley turned to be TDC with a screwdriver in the first spark plug hole, topmost position.
Cam sprockets aligning marks at the proper place on the rear timing cover. The first intake cam lobe pointing 9oclock, first exhaust cam lobe pointing 3oclock,everything looked fine to me.
One big guess:
Now the timing mark on the crank pulley have two notches to the left compared to the timing cover mark after installing the b6t exhaust cam...
Any advices??
Is there any benefits installing B6T cams in a B6 turbo project?? I got the B6T cams for free.

OK, when we reinstalled the timing belt on the camshaft sprockets, we were one tooth on each cam wrong so we were off on the cranfshaft pulley mark. We followed the marks on sprocket to find we were off the marks on the timing belt dust cover. Follow those marks and dont align the camshaft pulleys with the upper marks but the marks that align on the cover...
