Default Bent the timing guide pin for the crankshaft pulley

So tonight I was tightening the crankshaft bolt and didn't put the plate behind the bolt itself and tightened the bolt down to torque specs and then realized that I messed up to late. My question what is that party called or how do I unbend it ?

It's called a woodruff key. Replace it.

Only Fae in his sawzall days would be stupid enough to try to reuse it.

You can buy keystock in just about any size from places like McMaster-Carr.

It is the crank woodruf key. At least that is what mazda calls it. It is very much not a woodruf key at all. They are like $6 at a dealer.

yep, it needs to have the same radius ground into it as the cutout on the crank.
