Is the exhaust and intake port spacing and diameter the same? I assume the spacing is. How about the port diameter?
I am thinking about doing something awesome with my crappy china tubular.
Think sea creatures.

99+ rail mounting holes are in the head and so is injector bungs.
I am thinking of creating a variable sized plenum attached to the stainless mouth. This way you have nice small plenum for vacuum driving and big plenum for the boost.
The plenum would swell with more boost.

So what would be an ideal compound of rubber to use?
It needs the following specs
puncture resistant
oil resistant
heat resistant to 200*
can swell 4x volume at 40psi (1x volume per 13psi)
flexible neck to wrap around theexhaust intake flange and tie tight with string

I'm pretty sure you are already familiar with the 4.5" x 2' straight black hose...
Dunno about the 4x expansion though... maybe an unreinforced eGay version of the above?

MOAR DAERP.
but remember: swelling is lagging. just plumb the turbo into the collector.

Good idea about putting the turbo in the collector.
Even better idea!
Why not flip the turbo around and put the turbine on the intake and the compressor on the exhaust. This way you could avoid the hotside plumbing issues!
