Default Cam-Angle sensor questions

So my other thread is useless now that I found out the crank-angle sensor is just for mis-read detection.

Im not getting any spark, Ive swapped out plugs, wires, and the coilpack. I figure theres something wrong with my CAS. What usually fails first in the component, the plug, actual sensor, or what?

Mind you I had 30 volts go thru my whole system from the alternator overcharging my battery.

What am I missing? Im on a stock 97 ECU btw.

You might be missing an operational ECU after 30V.

Possible. Do you have a volt meter?

Continuity is at least easy to check.
