Question Is this cam too damaged?

I got this exhaust cam from a '94 with 88k to run as exhintake in my '96. There's a score on the bearing, wondering if it's too bad to run in my car.

Any opinions?

Have the journal polished.

As long as the OD of the journal is in spec, or even .0005 under, run it

Just make sure all the rough edges are removed.

A local machine shop that polishes cranks should be able to take care of it for a small fee.

Honestly if it doesn't catch when you drag your fingernail across it, it's probably able to be polished out. My NB head had some scoring on a few spots, but it cleaned up real nice.

Get them to check if it's straight.
