Default Engine dies under high load at high rpm...

Progressive twin turbo 1.8, with Enhanced MS2 by Rev.
Dies under high load, high rpm, and I have to cycle the key to re-start the engine.
Trying to start it without cycling the key produces nothing, no start.

It happened a few times in the past, but happened pretty often in the past few days after I cleaned the engine.
I was very careful, and dried everything out using an air gun after the cleaning.

I started logging and was able to capture the problem three times this evening.

Only thing I can see is that you have a MAP Sampling Error... Status 3: 4. But I don't know what that really means, nor what would cause it.

It is there until your engine hiccups on the first log.

EDIT: The second (2) logs have do not show anything interesting. Just idling.

I had an email exchange with Rev today.
He is suggesting I should switch to iridium plugs.

Ahh. Basic Spark blow-out. Worth a try. I did also notice that you did get pretty rich just before the event, but I don't know that a rich mixture is harder to ignite. Unless, of course, the plugs get wet.

Did he give a heat range? There was a discussion, recently, on which heat range iridium plugs are right for your level of boost / power. Rev was there.

Well, switching to iridium plugs made no difference.
Kinda.

First couple times I got on the gas I got this weird miss... Not cylinder specific, but all over the place.
I gave it a rest for a while, tried again, and bam... Engine died.

Rev suggested ditching the Toyota coils and installing Red top R8 units in their stead.
I will, however, need to add an ignition amplifier circuit (one per pair, total of two) in my MS2.
This circuit requires two TC4427 (IIRC) chips and some resistors, and they are all sourced, waiting to be assembled by a very competent friend.

I also wanted to try something in the name of science, and installed the old Toyota coils I had lying around for a couple years.
The result was fairly dramatic... Horrible ignition miss at anything over half throttle under load.
Like Rev says, these coils do break down over time, I guess.

The plan is assembling new wiring for the R8 coils, complete with a plug at the firewall so I can remove the whole wiring loom when I need to.

There is one other matter...
Since my MS2 did not have enough programmable outputs to drive my twin turbo setup, I had to convert one of my sequential ignition outputs to a programmable out.
This could be taxing and confusing the system. If that turns out to be the case, I will have to go for a proper MS3 which offers all the programmable outputs I will ever need.
We'll see.

I hate to see you needing to fork out the cash, but would like to see you on an MS3.
