exhintake drill gear or count teeth optimal timing for boost?
i have a 1996 kia motor with begi kit and mspnp 11psi. I have a spare cam and gear and i want to do the exhintake mod
i have read that the gear should be drilled at 197.5 deg but driving around to all my local machine shops and the cant do it?
so being that the cam has 46 teeth wouldnt each tooth be equil to 7.8 deg? so in theory rotate cam 25 teeth??
and is 197.5 optimal for a turbo car anyway?
anyone with personal experance?

Drilling the gear is easy. You can find a template on this site somewhere I believe. I did mine a while ago and forgot where i found it exactly. The drill bit is not a Lowes Item, I remember it being a 5mm?? Not sure this is the profile you want for a turbo motor though. It has a bit longer duration than a stock cam, which is not a bonus to your set up.
