It will always make it a bit bigger. Check your clearances before and after.

It will always technically make it bigger by removing material, but not nearly as much as boring. Honing basically scuffs the surface while boring cuts away material to enlarge the hole. Most of the time you don't need a new piston size after honing.

Basically these SGI are the same as eagle and CAT and so on..

There are only Pauter and Carillo left of the big companies, that do their own rods, as others come from these same suppliers to different brands..
