Default Fuel Pump PROBLEM! Help!

So to start I have a 1992 Miata Turbo build, just rebuilt it fully with Forged pistons, forged rods, ARP everything and all. Running on Speedy EFI stand-alone. When I got everything back together I cranked it and it ran for about 3 seconds and died. And it did that over and over. So I changed the main relay under the hood and the relay under by the steering column.. still no fix. So I bought the DW200 fuel pump and the Trackspeed fuel pump rewire kit off of flyin miata. And now I get no fuel at all during crank. But if I jump F/P and G/D in fish box the fuel pump will run but when not jumped it does not run. It’s was wiredcorrectly. I went through the wiring twice and all grounds were cleaned and redone. I’ve looked through all the forums and have had no help so can a miata Guru help and brother out. Thank you

Trackspeed kit.

I don't know how your particular speedy runs the fuel pump, but 1.6 USA miata run the fuel pump in a weird fucked up way. You probably need to jumper the connection at the AFM connector, pretty sure the wiki covers that or however else it's supposed to be done.

Might have broken something if you didn't remove the stsig fuse, too. I blew up a MS2 that way.

I did accidentally throw the ST fuse back in before the motor went in but took it out after a few cranks, ecu still is fully functionable, I’ve honestly been thinking about wiring the fuel pump to a toggle switch but not sure or really understand how to do that. Sorry wiring ain’t my thing

With the possible exception of the fuel pump output that you may have toasted by not removing the fuse. Troubleshooting anything electrical without a multimeter is like sprinting naked through a rain forest in the dark. Blind luck might get you somewhere, but every step is going to hurt.

Get a meter and measure the fuel pump output while cranking. Set your meter to DC volts then put one lead on the 12V power source to the ecu and 1 lead on the FP output. You should see ~12v while cranking.

It's fucked. Replace the ECU.
