You're on to something here as "C" has to fill up 3/4 of the way to drain back. Say its filled 1/2 way, then gets blown through during a turn or high boost; that could be an ounce or two of oil if it happens a few times. Is this happening? idk - but with a VTA setup, I don't think "C" is ever fully draining.

A 1/16" hole drilled near the large hole at the bottom of "C" straight through to "B" would let it drain back.
