Does anyone have experience milling the 1.6 Miata head to increase compression? How far can you go? I have much successful experience milling heads with other engines but I am not familiar with the Miata.

I doubt you will see much improvement on the 1.6 by milling it. You should consider other means of power adding if you are just getting it milled for more compression.
