kind of a silly question potentially, but how often would you guys get injectors cleaned/flowed/etc...?

I have a set of 550's in the dick car that i had cleaned/flowed/serviced when i first installed them, probably the better part of 5 years ago, and they were all in tip top shape. ran them on the car just fine for awhile, and then blew it up and it's been sitting without running for 3 years.

My thinking is that there's no real reason they wouldn't be fine, still. but the other part of my brain says i should play it safe and send them out to be re-serviced.

After 3 years I would have them serviced.

Continuous service? I don't know, every 10 years?

 

If the car sat untouched for 3 years I'd say there's a real good chance the injectors need cleaning/flowing.

 

You would be suprised at how quickly an injector that is not used, gets corrosion.

 

that's what I figured. Just making sure i'm not over thinking things.

now, how many more dicks will have been drawn on my car when i get back to it this weekend? :-)
