sounds like you lost your 5volt signal wire.

Quick update,

I got a new TPS yesterday in the mail.
Unfortunately it did not solve my problem.

I did bench test the new one vs. the old one I received and there was very little difference. The old on would show a resistance around 15-20ohms when fully closed (idle) and increase in resistance until full open. (I didn't measure rotation but only 5 degrees or so)
The new one had a resistance of around ~130 ohms fully closed, and opened around the same rotation angle.

I didn't expect much after the bench test, but.... For some reason the CEL went away and didn't come back as it had with the old one.
It does seem to be fighting to hold the idle more than it had before.

The car continues to run very roughly and wont idle, I must not have fully seated something the last time I took the intake manifold off. I'll be pulling it and trying again in the next couple of days, as well as checking the connections on the back of the engine. I confirmed the engine temp sensor is not connected.

Thanks,
