Default LS Coils not working

I was doing a VVT swap into my 95 m edition and i ran into a wall with the coils. They are the d585 coils used in lsx trucks i believe. I know they are getting power cause ive put a multi meter on them and checked, but whenever i try to crank the car they arent makin any spark. I am running a ms2 pnp if that helps solve my problem. Ive looked on every thread i can find and cant seems to figure this out.

Have you tried the output test mode in tuner studio to ensure it's wired correctly for the firing order?

Ill give it a shot when i get home. I currently have it wired up for wasted spark, would that affect the results of the test?

Shouldn't. If you tied the triggers together you'll only need to test output on spark a and b. Just confirm they are going to their corresponding pair of cylinders

They are connected properly, I just double checked all the wiring and all that and it seems right. I tried to run the test but I dont believe it was doing anything? I was lookin at the option port and saw that it has a pins for spark output a-d. If I hook one bank of coils up to a (1/4) and the other to b (2/3), would it provided signal properly? Id still leave the 12v and stuff hooked up, just not the brown and brown/yellow wires.

? just pull the plug wire, put a spark plug on it, ground it, and run output on Spark A and B. It should simply fire
