Default Need help with an 2001 engine swap into a 1997 (Coil on plugs installation help)

I got a fresh 2001 engine with 65,000 miles and i got it installed and all that I got left to do is get the 2001 coils firing off the 97 harness. Does anybody know what I need to do to splice the 01 coil ignition harness into my 97 harness?

You might just want to forgo the01coils and co with a COP setup. I dont think there is really any advantage to the 01 coil setup.

Toyota COPS are a bitch to get working on an 01. You have to drill out parts of the Valve Cover. If you shoot me a picture of what the ends of the wiring harness for the 01Cops are I should be able to sell you the other side of the plugs for cheap so that you can wire them in and make them look good.

Awesome, what all did you have to modify so far to get the 01 motor in there?

Huh? 01's are coil on plugs minus the slave plugs that connect to the no. 4 and no. 1 cylinders.

I know. I have a 05 and my spark blows out unless I have a shitty small gap on the plugs.
