New Garrett GTX-R Turbo's
I can't believe this hasn't been discussed on this forum yet. Looks like its only available in the LARGE turbo size right now, but eventually it will make its way down to one's we could use better.

As far as I can tell, they're only talking about compressor wheels. And by "outline interchangeable" one might assume these new wheels will fit onto the current CHRAs and into the current housings, and be available as just a wheel upgade for those who don't want to buy whole new turbo.

I think people haven't mentioned it here because 1. it's only big turbos so far 2. it will be out of the price range of most people here if/when they do make smaller turbos.
I've read about the PTE billet wheel turbos on the subaru forums. They say is a good thing to be air cooled only? I need to see some sort of logic on that. Otherwise I'd rather have water cooled Garrett CHRA.

Assuming you were talking about my post it was simply replying to Tims post regarding upgraded compressor wheels. Blouch knows what they're doing.
Call them up. OR go over to NASIOC proven power bragging and check out all the dyno sheets comparing new tech vs old tech. Lots of spool and power data over there.

My old GT35R vs. my new PTE 6262 - evolutionm.net
Shows the difference with the new billet wheel compared to the "old technology" GT series. Keep in mind the 6262 is the same size as the GT35R. The 6262 even has a bigger hot-side. A lot of evo guys are running PTE Billet turbos; as well Subie guys and guys who have Grand Nationals.
EDIT: PTE technology uses ceramic coated cartridge bearings, they're 100% rebuildable and require no water lines...
