Default Non-VVT swap into 2002

I got a pretty good deal on a non vvt block and head that I'm planning to build into a 300ish HP motor. I'm trying to figure out how compatible my chassis will be with it, it's a 2002 with all the fixings, 6speed, ABS, AC, torsen diff yada yada. Will my stock wiring harness be able to run the non vvt motor if I have a MS3 or a MS labs ECU?
I want to keep the VVT motor that's in it stock enough to be compatible with the stock ECU for various reasons. Not the least of which is that it's my daily driver at the moment.
My apologies if I haven't done enough research, and this is a beaten to death topic, but I didn't see anything similar.
